I got these, ORZAX Selenium, Helps Antioxidant & Immune Support System, Selenomethionine 200mcg, Thyroid Support* for Women and Men, Yeast and Dairy Free, 180 Vegetable Capsules (180 Day Supply) for my daily use. I order these after my doctor did an extensive blood work test, I am 71 years old, and he said I was showing a deficiency in Selenium. I take them daily and will update after my next blood work tests if they are successful in bring my levels up. The capsule is easy to swallow (180 for a 6-month supply), with no bad aftertaste, and the price is a lot cheaper than the ones he sells in his office. I like that it is a fresh stock with an expiration of 01/2025.

This is a great product and works just as well as my other brand which also uses the correct form of Selenomethionine. It is priced well for one capsule a day, for 6 months at 200 mcg. It's a wonderful supplement to take for thyroid issues to help keep them balanced and working well.Expiration: 1/2025 Will purchase again.

Purchased this to support thyroid function, since this is a problem for me and everyone in my family. And who couldn’t use additional immune support during these time? Been taking for about a week, and while I don’t feel any difference yet, I can attest that they are small, easy to swallow, and simple to identify based on its blue capsule.

Selenium is a trace mineral and antioxidant that's thought to . It should be taken together with Vitamin E, as they work synergisticly, enhancing each other's effectiveness. I normally take 200 mcg of Selenium and 1,000 IU of Vitamin E a day.Orzax offers 200 mcg of Selenium per (one capsule) serving. That's the correct (and most widely sold) daily amount.Orzax sells its Selenium in blue capsules (see my photos), which is odd, as most capsules are clear so that you can see the color of the supplement. Orzax's capsules also have that artificial, plastic scent that I associate with medicines.According to Orzax's label, in addition to Selenium, other ingredients include: "Microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, vegetable capsule." The capsules' strange, medicine scent probably comes from one of these.I do like that this Orzax Selenium comes in capsules, not tablets. Tablets contain binders that hinder absorption. Capsules, softgels, or tinctures are always better.Good, basic Selenium in the correct daily amount.

I can't speak for absorbency or purity, as I don't have a lab, but I do like that the pills are pale blue which makes them easy to tell apart from many of my other dietary supplements. The capsules are small and easy to swallow, and they have no odor that I can detect. I broke one open and found that the white powder inside has no smell and no taste whatsoever. Normally when I get selenium supplements they have a strong smell of walnuts, but not so for these. I don't know if that means anything or not.Selenium is important for cellular repair and protection, as well as many vital functions such as thyroid.
